Talking Therapy

As a psychoanalytic therapist I am interested in how our past experiences impact on how we feel and behave in the present; we can sometimes feel trapped or stuck in unhelpful patterns of relating, or experiencing life.  Psychotherapy can help release these destructive patterns so that we become freer to respond in a life-giving way.  If you engage in psychotherapy with me, we will spend time understanding the way your past prevents you moving forward, and clear blocks and traumas that are causing distress.

In addition to traditional talking therapy, I may introduce you to some gentle techniques which help clear trauma and distress.
